Dr. Kimberly Fleming is President of Core Education, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in teacher effectiveness initiatives. Experienced at the school, central office, university and state levels, Fleming has a broad understanding of the alignments needed to achieve educational improvement. She has worked nationally and internationally to support teacher development and student achievement.
Fleming offers almost 25 years of experience in education. She has worked with 24 school districts and 28 institutions of higher education as a professional development schools facilitator and alternative teacher preparation program specialist with the Maryland State Department of Education. In addition, she has worked with state education agencies, universities, districts, and nonprofit and for-profit organizations as a consultant.
Dr. Fleming earned her Master’s degree in teacher leadership from Johns Hopkins University and her PhD from the University of Maryland in teacher education and professional development.
