The Director of Programs at Pathfinders for Autism, Trish Kane is responsible for the daily intake of questions and concerns from parents, caregivers, educators, professionals and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Trish provides support and resources through research, field work and personal experience. In addition, she identifies partners, topics and speakers for the PFA annual training series throughout Maryland and organizes family fun events throughout the state to bring enjoyment and social opportunities for families.
Since March, 1995, she has advocated for her 20-year-old son with ASD and offers an understanding of supports and accommodations that work while facing the challenges of going out to eat, visiting the dentist, etc. Trish is on the Board of Directors for The Abilities Network, a local Maryland community and vocational support organization.
